About Me
I’m a provisionally licensed therapist with a background in both the arts and clinical work and a unique blend that shapes the way I show up in the therapy room.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over two decades performing as a professional French horn player, including on Broadway and international stages.
That lived experience of pressure, creativity, and sensitivity now informs my work with performers, creatives, and anyone navigating complex inner landscapes.
Systems Theory
Because of systems theory, I know that the body, mind, and psyche already hold everything needed to heal and thrive. My role is to accompany at times and to guide at others by helping identify and release the constraints that block the natural flow toward balance, integration, and well-being. I’m trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Brainspotting, and I draw on these approaches to support the unique process of each individual I work with.
Sessions with me may feel different from traditional talk therapy. They often include more silence, deeper subcortical processing, and a slowed-down pace that allows the body and nervous system to guide the work. At times, the experience may feel expansive, nonlinear, or even dreamlike dropping into an inner journey. Rather than focusing solely on narrative or insight, we often work with what’s emerging in the moment, allowing space for subtle shifts, imagery, sensation, and internal resonance.
I especially enjoy working with people who are curious, thoughtful, and open to exploring themselves in new ways. My style is attuned, grounded, and collaborative, with space for both deep inner work and practical steps toward change.
